Welcome to Hillcrest Middle School! Our mission-driven staff is proud to serve learners in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. Our school is part of the Tuscaloosa County School System and our district is committed to meeting the educational needs of all students in a safe learning environment.

5th Period	12:35 - 1:25 p.m.
6th Period	1:30 - 2:20 p.m.
7th Period	2:25 - 3:10 p.m.

Curriculum

Core Curriculum

All students at Hillcrest Middle School are enrolled in four core subjects (Math, English, Science and Social Studies) and three electives (one elective must be PE). Starting in grade 7, students who meet the requirements are offered Academic Scholars courses for core subjects. GATE classes for grades 6-8 are provided for students with a gifted status.

Fine Arts

Here at Hillcrest, we value the fine arts and believe in providing our students with a well rounded curriculem that helps them grow to their full potential.
